Tinkering A New Toy

We started having a good time just getting lost in our latest project. The hammered wings are made of a very thin metal. The copper wire holds together a brushed copper & glass rectangular artpiece. I really like how the rivets echo a corset-like appearance. You can't see too clearly but inside the artpiece, 2 of the corners are highlighted with gold leaf. Around the woman, the portrait is aged with Mica tiles.

It's still a WIP (work-in-progress). More than likely 2 more riveted holes will be atop the higher part of
the wings so that it can be attached to a beaded strand to make a rather nifty necklace.

All this work is giving Zizi an appetite!
